Our Story

Sweet Shop Vodka was created when three creative minds came together. To begin with, Andy came up with the idea of different flavoured vodkas, inspired by and using real sweets. Once Andy came up with this idea, he decided to talk to his friends of over 15 years, Hakam and Alex, who both absolutely loved the idea of creating different flavoured vodkas using real sweets.

After over 15 years of friendship, it felt only right to be in it together, and create the company and products as a team, and that’s where Sweet Shop Vodka began.
From the initial idea, we then started producing different vodka flavours in Andy’s kitchen, creating new, exciting, and most importantly delicious, flavours, and developing the overall product.

Following this trial run, we realised we definitely had something special and set out on a mission to find a distillery that would help us produce our vodkas, and bring our vision to life, and to shelves.

We were lucky enough to meet JL Drinks, who loved the idea so much they wanted to be involved and even joined the company by taking a percentage of the business. We have now started to produce our different flavoured vodkas, with an initial bulk order of bottles now in production.
